🚨 Important Announcement from Beckwith Fire Department 🚨
Due to current conditions, Beckwith Township is now under a TOTAL FIRE BAN until further notice. This includes all campfires and open-air burns.
Please help us keep our community safe by complying with this ban. Thank you for your cooperation.
BURN PERMIT PROCESS – PLEASE READ:
The Beckwith Volunteer Fire Department reminds all residents that an active 2024 burn permit is required for open air burning (anything other than a campfire) from April 1st to October 31st.
Residents may obtain a FREE Burn Permit electronically by visiting https://beckwith.burnpermits.com/ Residents must go on line and create an account and then immediately call (833) 525-1333 to activate their account for the year. Residents are required to obtain a single permit that is active for one calendar year. If you require assistance, please contact the Township Office.
No Permits are required for Campfires.
Permit holders must call to activate their Burn Permit before each burn activity. Permit activation must be completed by calling the Burn Permit Line at (833) 525-1333 .
If you are having difficulty activating your permit, ensure your Permit is valid for 2024.
Enforcement actions may be taken against anyone who burns in violation of the Rules and Regulations posted on the Township website.

Please remember to have your garbage and recycling out by 7:00 a.m. on your regular garbage pick-up day. NO EXCEPTIONS!
