RURAL CLEAN WATER GRANT PROGRAM
We offer financial and technical assistance to farmers and rural residents undertaking projects to protect and improve water quality. Grants are available for different project categories, including well decommissioning, septic repair/replacement, manure storage, controlled tile drainage, watercourse fencing, cover crops, erosion control and many more. TREE PLANTING PROGRAM
The RVCA offers a full-service reforestation program to all residents in the Rideau Valley and Mississippi Valley Watersheds. We are looking to transform marginal, empty or ideal fields into thriving green woodlands. To learn more, go to the website – click here
SHORELINE NATURALIZATION PROGRAM
Establishing a natural, well-vegetated shoreline is an affordable and easy way that landowners can protect their shoreline from erosion and protect the water quality on our lakes and rivers. RVCA’s Shoreline Naturalization Program can help landowners naturalize their shoreline by providing everything from advice and guidance to full-service planting projects.
