4H | 4-H is a non-profit organization for youths aged 6-21, to learn about selected topics through fun hands-on activities and mentorship. Some clubs include Poultry club, Beef club, Gardening club, Sheep club, Clover buds. Outdoors | Friends in Sport Provides recreational boating and sportfishing for groups of people with special needs, including children. B.E.A.S.T. Beautiful Eastern Association of Snowmobile Trails Mississippi Valley Field Naturalists Members enjoy a robust and diverse program of guided nature outings, informative nature presentations, local stewardship, conservation and learning opportunities. |

Gardening | The Carleton Place and District Horticultural Society Works to inform and educate fellow gardeners and encourage those new to gardening. |
Music | Carleton Place and District Community Band A volunteer organization playing concert band music for recreation and community events in Carleton Place. |
Youth Leadership Groups | Beckwith Youth Committee The Beckwith Youth Committee is a Township led group for children and teens focused on fostering leadership skills, parliamentary procedure skills, self-confidence, and fun. Sea Cadets & Navy Cadets A dynamic and empowering youth initiative that teaches knowledge and skills about seamanship, sailing, and traditions of the Royal Canadian Navy. Scouts Scouts Canada is the country’s leading co-ed youth organization, offering programming for children and youth. Girl Guides Girl Guides of Canada is a national organization that offers girls and young women opportunities to learn, grow and have fun. Carleton Place & District Youth Centre A community-based organization focused on inspiring and engaging youth through programming, fundraisers, and community-building initiatives. |
Seniors | Beckwith and District Friendship Club The club meets the first Thursday of each month for a potluck lunch followed by live country music. Counselling/Support | Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth is an accredited child and youth mental health center delivering services throughout Lanark County. Lanark County Interval House Lanark County Interval House and Community Support offers emergency and on-going programs to women and children living in or escaping from domestic violence. Lanark County Mental Health Mental health services designed for individuals who do not have access to counselling services through other sources such as school or work. |
