Paddle Starting Times and Shuttle:
The starting point for the Jock River Paddle will be at the bridge on the 9th Line of Beckwith. Parking is located at the ending point, Ashton Park, and a shuttle bus service starting at 9 a.m. will take you back to the starting point. Our staff will be on hand to assist with unloading your boat before you park. Drop your canoe off at the starting location, park at the Ashton Park and take the shuttle back to your starting route.
Shuttle Times:
Shuttle times will be assigned and communicated via email one week prior to the event. This will allow participants to plan accordingly for their starting time.
Payment
Payment can be made by cash, cheque (payable to Beckwith Township) or debit (in-person only). There is a mail slot at the Township Office front door for afterhours drop off. Please mail / deliver payment by Friday, May 3rd, 2024!

Photo Contest:
Please take photos of your travels along the Jock and submit them by email to events@twp.beckwith.on.ca. Deadline for submissions is May 27th, 2024. Prizes will be awarded for the best photo!
Map Route:
Refer to the provided map for the 9th Line Road Paddle Route, which spans 6.5 km with staggered starts beginning at 9:30 a.m.
After the Paddle:
Stay for a drink, lunch and live entertainment by Cashmen Ford at the Ashton Pub! If you are interested in having lunch at the Pub, we recommend calling to make a reservation.
