SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the high volume of traffic on the morning of May 15th, the camp registration crashed the Township website. The web providers are working to resolve this issue and camp registration will re-open at 7:30 am on Wednesday, May 21st. If you were able to access registration on the 15th and received a confirmation email, your reservation is still valid. Please visit the Day/Sports Camp page for the link to register and the most up-to-date information.

THE SAME CAMP YOU LOVE
As in previous years, registrants are offered the same flexibility that sets Beckwith Summer Camp apart from the rest. Register by the week or pick and choose your days at check out.

NEW THIS YEAR!
Registration will be online only, and a payment plan can be selected at checkout. No paper registration forms will be provided or accepted at the Township office.

REGISTRATION FEES
Monday to Thursday: $40 per child
Friday: $45 per child (includes fee for Special Guest attendance)
$205.00 per week

Incidentals (Cash Only): Snacks such as juice boxes, chips and chocolate bars will be available to purchase at check-in each morning. Sports Camp attendees (ages 9-12) can sign up to skate on Tuesdays for $2

The first of two Public Information Centres (PICs) will be held in person on May 22, 2025 at the Brunton Community Hall (2022 Beckwith Pk Ln, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0V9). The Ministry of Transpotration invite you to attend the public session which will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. PUBLIC NOTICE – NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT THE 2025 BUDGET

In accordance with section 290 of the Municipal Act, 2001 and Municipal By-Law No. 2024-21, notice is hereby given that the Council of the Township of Beckwith intends to present its 2025 Municipal Budget at the Council Meeting on:

The meeting will include an overview of the budget and capital projects for 2025.

WASTE COLLECTION UPDATE

Starting April 7th, 2025 garbage collection routes will be changing to improve service efficiency.

The new routes are as follows: New – Collection Routes Map

The Township of Beckwith provides weekly curbside collection of residential waste for single family homes.

Please note that the only time collection is interrupted is on the statutory holidays of Christmas or New Year’s Day.

Pick-up times for curbside garbage and recycling may vary from week to week; residents should have their garbage and recycling at the curbside by 7:00 a.m. on their scheduled day for curbside collection.

Each garbage bag must be tagged with 1 Township of Beckwith sticker in a visible place.  Residents receive an annual allotment of 80 stickers each calendar year.  Additional tags may be purchased at a price of $2.00 per sticker.  Stickers are available at the Municipal Office at the start of January.  Residents, who are unable to come pick up their allotment, must provide written permission to another person.

FINAL TAX BILL (3rd PAYMENT)

The Township of Beckwith would like to remind all property owners that the 3rd and final tax due date, the 2nd installment of the final tax bill is due this month. Final Installment Due – Monday, September 23rd, 2024.

Did you know that we offer a monthly payment plan, or installment/due date payment plan for your property taxes? There is no service fee for this plan. October is a great time to start the Payment Plan to begin collecting for 2025 taxes.
